The Skiddaw Street allotments are
provided by the Town Council. |

and Subsidies by the Town Council. |

Supplied and maintained by the Town Council. |

Hall:- |
The community hall caters for a wide range
of people. Rooms are available for meetings etc and can be
hired by contacting the Town Clerk. |
| Recreation
Grounds:- |
The recreation grounds on Eden Street
and at West Silloth are provided and maintained by the Town
Council. |

Every planning application in
the Town is examined and comments are submitted to Allerdale
Borough Council for consideration before a decision is made. |
| Tourism:- |
The Town Council promotes Tourism by
providing financial support to the organisers of events on the
Green and also by contributing to the running costs of the Tourist Information
Centre. |
